&lt;div class='materialStyle '&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;May 5, 2025 | Manila, Philippines&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; — In a celebration of international unity and academic collaboration, the Philippine Christian University (PCU) welcomed distinguished guests from Papua New Guinea for a momentous event held at the 7th Floor of the Science and Technology Building, PCU Taft Avenue Campus. Themed &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;“Bridging Nations, Building Futures Through Education &amp;amp; Culture,”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt; the program aimed to strengthen ties between the two nations through shared educatio&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;nal and cultural values&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Gauuan, Ph.D.,&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;delivered the opening remarks, underscoring the university’s ongoing commitment to global partnerships and inclusive education. The audience was then treated to moving musical performances by the PCU Manila Vocal Ensemble, including powerful renditions of&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style=""&gt;“Soon Ah Will Be Done”&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;and&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style=""&gt;“Amazing Grace.”&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;em style=""&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;A key highlight was the welcome message from the&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Honorable Benjamin Mul, MP,&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Member of Parliament for North Waghi Open and Founder &amp;amp; President of Waigani Christian College and Papua New Guinea Christian University. He emphasized the critical importance of cross-cultural collaboration in nation-building.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;em style=""&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;The celebration continued with an uplifting intermission performance by the PCU College Choral, followed by a keynote address from the&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;Honorable Minister Kinoka Hotune Feo, MP,&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Minister of the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) of Papua New Guinea. Minister Feo highlighted the transformative power of education and the value of fostering deeper academic linkages between Papua New Guinea and the Philippines.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
